Fit4Circularity ALIPA Group

Mid May 2017, +ImpaKT was invited by the company CODIPRO in Wiltz, member of the ALIPA Group, for a Circulab training with 2 groups of collaborators as well as visitors from Luxinnovation and Idelux. Codipro is the specialist of Swivel Lifting Rings for all kind of lifting applications. The stringent security and safety measures in this sector ask for products of very high quality, which is an interesting feature for circular economy business models. Already now, Codipro offerts its costumers control and reconditioning of lifting equipment, if necessary.

Next to Christophe Losange, director of Codipro, the managing director of the ALIPA Group, Michèle Detaille, also participated in the training. The meeting was also followed by Cordelia Chaton, journalist at Journal, who published her impressions in an (->article).

Following the training, ALIPA Group decided to investigate the potential of the CE for its businesses and is currently performing a Fit4Circularity study with +ImpaKT, both for Codipro as well as No-nailboxes, another flagship company of the Group and the Luxembourg industry, producing collapsible boxes in plywood and steel for the packaging business.
