Within the programme Fit4Circularity, +ImpaKT has analysed the production process of cider at Ramborn Cider Sàrl. Together with the company experts, the following steps have been identified (amongst others) to reinforce Ramborn’s strategy towards a Circular Economy:
- Strong collaboration with local apple producers in order to valorise the old brands, best suited for cider
- Sharing of equipment with local wine producers for the fermentation and bottling steps
- Valorisation of production residues for energy production and extraction of valuable molecules
