In order to progress all together we need to come up with a common understanding and definition what a circular building should mean, so that we can start developing the right strategies and tools in order to reach that goal!
Therefore, please find below my definition.
A circular building:
- preserves the highest economic value for the longest possible time through a flexible and adaptable design;
- is a stock of healthy materials, that are clearly identified and designed for high quality reuse at the end of their use cycle;
- creates positive impacts for the people and flows connected to the building.
